House of Cards

Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) is a democrat from South Carolina’s 5th congressional district and House majority. He was passed over for appointment as Secretary of State, and decides to plan his revenge on those who betrayed him, including the USA President, Garrett Walker (Michel Gill). Underwood has a visceral relationship with the politics, and also with his wife, Claire (Robin Wright). He will do everything to take the role of president.

Mad Men

Mad Men is set initially at the Sterling Cooper advertising agency in New York City. The actor in leading role is Don Draper (Jon Hamm), creative director of it and a founding partner at Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce. The plot focuses on the business of the agencies as well as the personal lives of the characters, regularly depicting the changing moods and social mores of the United States across the 1960s. Adultery, sexism, alcoholism, counterculture, racism and smoking are some themes discussed on the serie.

Scandal

Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) is a former White House Communications Director for the President of the United States. She has left to start her own crisis management firm – but she doesn’t forget her love for the President. The serie is based on former George H.W. Bush administration press aide Judy Smith, who serves as a co-executive producer.
