The Stanford University Venture Lab offers the course Mobile Heart Without Borders. The activity has the goal to atend three main themes: Global Health Challenges; Mobile Health Opportunities, and Entrepreneurship in Health Care.
Eric Leroux – received NCAA Sportmanship Award, Hockey Humanitarian Award, Performed research on HIV / AIDS in Kenya, and received The Spirit of Princeton Award – is the Director of the course. The Director of Innovative Surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine, Homero Rivas, is the Advisor of the activity, and the Assistent Director is Heather Logghe, who founded the student group, Men Making a Difference, wich led pro-feminist, gay-affirmative , campus anti-racist campaigns focused on ending men’s violence against women.
