Maybe you have already noticed but we would like to explain: Runrun.it releases today its new interface with fluid width and easier to use (Haven’t you see it? Take a look now!). We are naming this project “full width”.
There are two changes:
1. Now, app’s workspace is 100% of your screen width. In other words, users can see more information about tasks and projects according to your computer screen. There are no empty spaces on the app anymore (look at how it once was on the image).
2. Another big change is at the menu bar. The most important features of Runrun.it – Tasks, Projects, Team and Bulletin – are highlighted and fixed on the menu. Hours and Apps are just below it, together with Reports and Admin – both areas are restricted to managers, team leaders and administrators. Now, it’s easy to acess the Help area and to change the Language.
We also create a button that shows you last viewe tasks.
This is a big change we have been working on for a long time. Fun fact: While we were researching the best way to make these changes, some users also suggested it. Allan Brito from Moobi Tech, a tech company from Brazil, was one of them. He’s used a Chrome plug-in to turn Runrun.it in full width. That was one delightful coincidence that has indicated we were on the right path.
Other changes on our interface are coming. While they don’t turn up, we would like to know what did you think about these changes!
