The course is an introduction to the use of computers for solving real problems and is aimed at people with no previous experience in the subject. The content is broad and aims to give an overview, as it will probably be the only course in Computer Science that most students will ever take, although it can also be used as a launching pad for further study in the area.
This 14 week long course has the same rigor offered at the other MIT on-site courses, and students should devote themselves firmly if willing to earn the certificate issued by the institution.
